Providing Access in Exceptional Circumstances
At Egetis, patients are at the center of everything we do. While participation in a clinical trial remains the preferred way to access investigational medicines, we recognize that some patients with serious or life-threatening diseases may not qualify for, or have access to, an ongoing clinical study.
In exceptional circumstances and where permitted by local laws and regulations, Egetis may consider providing access to investigational medicines through Managed Access programs.
Managed Access is intended for situations where no satisfactory treatment options are available and where access to an investigational medicine may be considered appropriate by the treating physician.
Managed Access programs are governed by local laws, regulations and company policies. Availability may differ between countries and programs. Access to an investigational medicine through a Managed Access program does not constitute regulatory approval and should not be interpreted as evidence of safety or efficacy. Decisions regarding patient treatment should always be made by the treating healthcare professional.
