Intellectual property protection is an important part of Egetis’ strategy to support the development and commercialization of therapies for rare diseases. The Company maintains a patent and exclusivity strategy designed to protect its product candidates, scientific innovations and long-term development efforts across key global markets.

Egetis’ intellectual property portfolio includes a granted patent, pending patent applications, orphan drug exclusivity and trademark protection related to its development programs, including Emcitate® (tiratricol) and Aladote® (calmangafodipir).

The Company seeks broad protection through patents covering pharmaceutical compositions, formulations, treatment methods and related technologies, while also pursuing regulatory exclusivity pathways where applicable. Patent coverage is pursued in major territories worldwide, including the United States, Europe, Japan and other strategically important markets.

In addition to patent protection, Egetis maintains trademark registrations for Emcitate® and Aladote® in multiple jurisdictions, including Europe and the United States.
